I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn that bluesman and pops artist Bill HowlNmadd Perry had passed away when I got the news. When I first heard the news, I was taken aback. Throughout his career, Bill HowlNmadd Perry was a pioneer in the music industry in both of these genres. During the time that we were gone on the European BLUES Cruise, both he and my lovely fellow Blues sister Sharo Perry made an appearance on board the ship. I was unable to fight the impulse to address him as Pops after I discovered that our birthdays are the same.
