Ben Jacobs Obituary, Death – We must break the news to our extended family here at the Ipswich BMX Club, as well as to those who have not yet heard the news, and it is with profound disbelief and profound sorrow that we do so. Ben Jacobs passed away. Ben, whose son Tom was a member of the IBMXC for many years, lost away last Wednesday evening as the result of a road traffic collision that occurred while Tom was cycling. Ben, who was an avid runner, cyclist, and volunteer in the community, is going to be missed by his wife Faye and their three children. During this tremendously trying time for Tom and his family, we are keeping them in our thoughts and sending our condolences.

A drive for donations has been launched in order to provide financial support to the family so that they can meet unexpected expenses. After the tragic and unexpected loss of our dear friend Ben Jacobs, we are hoping to raise as much money as possible to give to Faye, Thomas, Olivia, and Holly in order to help them through this difficult time. Ben was riding his bike on the awful day of the 17th of May when he was involved in an accident, and he sadly passed on the following day.

Ben was a respected and devoted employee of Touchwood UK for the past 27 years, and we are all going to miss him terribly. Ben’s contributions to the company will not be forgotten. The family will incur a great deal of financial hardship as a result of the untimely death of a beloved husband and father. They were in no way prepared for this tragedy. I would be grateful if you could urge Ben’s friends in the running and biking communities to assist this beautiful family while they are going through this difficult period.
