Belvan Gerischer Obituary, Death – Class of 1993 graduate of the Belvan P. Gerischer Graduate School The funeral for Mr. Belvan P. Gerischer, who was from Davenport and had reached the age of 47 when he passed away, was held on May 16, 2023 at The Ivy Assisted Living. His cremation rites have been performed in accordance with the wishes he expressed before to his passing. The Celebration of Life Services will be held at the VFW Post 828 in Davenport, which can be found at 101 S. Linwood. These services are scheduled to take place in the morning of Saturday, June 24, 2023.

On September 4, 1975, in Davenport, Michael Gerischer and Thelma (Fields) Gerischer became parents for the first time. Their son Belvan was born into this world. He graduated from Davenport West High School, where he had finished all of his high school requirements and obtained his diploma. Welding has been Belvan’s primary occupation at McLaughlin Body for the past seventeen years. He was a huge fan of the great outdoors and his favorite activities were fishing, camping, and watching Nascar. Additionally, he was a fan of the Chicago Cubs baseball team.

The time that Belvan was able to spend with his friends and family was something that he held in the highest regard. His beloved companion, Shantelle Hahn, as well as his father, Michael Gerischer, and his sisters Dorothy Gerischer and Darla Phillips, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins, are among those who survived him. Also surviving are his sisters Dorothy Gerischer and Darla Phillips. I pray that God will grant you the serenity that your soul needs.
