Arthur Blue Obituary, Death – Edward Arthur Blue, who was 74 years old, passed away on March 5, 2016 in Knox, Indiana. He was a resident of Indiana. He called the town of Knox in Indiana his home. Born in LaPorte, Indiana on Thursday, August 28, 1941, he was the son of the late James Arthur Blue and the late Anna Marie (Engle) Blue. Both of his parents passed away before. Both of his parents had passed away at this point.
Ed served on the Knox City Council for a total of 16 years, including two years as president of the council. During his time on the council, Ed was president of the body for two years. In addition to his role as a member of the Board of public works, Ed has served for the past 15 years as a member of the Starke County Environmental Management Solid Waste Board. Ed was a member of the Knox Church of the Nazarene in addition to being the operator of the Knox-based plumbing business E&B Plumbing, which was located there.
When Ed and Bertha traveled across the country, one of their preferred modes of transportation was the Amtrak train. Ed’s first goal in life was always making time to be with his family, which included his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. On April 13, 1963, he tied the knot with Bertha Fisher, and to this day, their union is going strong. The ceremony that marked their union took place at the Knox Christian Church in Knox, Indiana.
The Braman & Son Memorial Chapel in Knox, Indiana will be hosting a visitation on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, from 4 PM to 8 PM. Friends and family are welcome to come pay their respects during this time. Additionally, visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, beginning two hours before the funeral. These services will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016.
