Alyssa Kent Obituary, Death – I’m writing this while I’m driving from South Carolina to Kent Island, and it’s with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that I found out yesterday that my mother passed suddenly in an unexpected manner. Unfortunately, my brother, my sister, and I will be responsible for all of the bills because, as far as we know, she does not have any assets and she does not have life insurance. Because I am a young adult attempting to find my own financial footing while also grieving the loss of a parent.
I believe that this is a special case that warrants my asking for assistance, despite the fact that I am normally not one to ask for assistance because I am independent-minded and like to be able to accomplish things on my own. I am aware that the majority of you did not know my mother, but I want you to know that despite the many negative things that you may have heard about her, she did in fact love us as her children and she offered love to all individuals regardless of who they were or where they were from.
For those of you who did know my mother, even if your recollections are hazy, you probably won’t be able to stop thinking about her infectious laugh and how much fun she could be. And perhaps some of her pancakes with chocolate chip. Again, I absolutely despise the fact that I am in a position where I have to ask for assistance, and I despise the circumstances that have led to my having to do so even more than I despise the fact that I have to, but any amount would be appreciated more than you know. Even something as simple as a like or a share to help get the word out would be helpful.
