Alice Tripp Obituary, Scott Kansa Has Died – Death Cause

Alice Tripp Obituary, Death – Alice May Tripp, age 89, a previous resident of Ft. Scott, Kansas, and more recently a resident of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Chase County Care & Rehabilitation Center in Cottonwood Falls. Alice May Tripp was a resident of both Ft. Scott and Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. She was the daughter of George L. Crosby, Sr. and Beulah Parker Crosby and was born on October 29, 1933 in the town of Deerfield in the state of Missouri.

Alice received her education in the public schools of Ft. Scott and was a member of the graduating class of 1951 from Ft. Scott High School. For a period of four years, she was employed with the Western Insurance Company. After that, in the year 1956, she passed the necessary exams to become a licensed cosmetologist. Alice was an enterprising person who launched her own business in Ft. Scott in 1958. She kept her enterprise going for a total of forty-three years. Alice maintained a steady clientele of people who were also her good friends.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and belonged to the Olive Chapter #13. Alice tied the knot with Ray Tripp in the year 1980. He passed away on May 21, 2014, three days before she did. Her parents had already passed away when Alice was still a young child. Her family includes a brother, George L. Crosby, Jr. (and his wife, Alice Fay), a sister, Rosa Marie Bolinger (and her husband, Jim), as well as five nephews and two nieces. Step-daughters Rhonda McAlister (Ted) of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Sandra Buntain (Mike) of Springfield, Missouri, Marsha Heiser (Jerry) of Prescott, Kansas, and Laura McDysan (Lee) of Berryton, Kansas, as well as a host of other friends and family members, are among those who are still living.
