Alan Miller Obituary, Death – This past Friday night, another member of our group, Alan Miller, passed away. It is with exceedingly sorrowful hearts that we share the news with you that this has occurred. Ever since the organization was established, Al has been a part of it. Assisting in the acquisition of our 501(c)(3) status, putting LAF into operation, organizing our first events, running our Fun Run in Fenton as well as the golf outing in Bancroft, and playing an essential role in our Christmas Concert in Lone Rock.

He kept us calm when things got stressful or difficult. It was clear that he poured his entire being into the Little Al Foundation, as seen by the work that he accomplished for the organization. He was our number one supporter. Alan, you have no idea how much we will miss having you here with us. We are grateful that you have made room in your heart for each and every one of our LAF children. We are aware that you are currently with your younger companion, Little Al. In perpetuity, our Husband, Father, Brother, and Friend will live on in our hearts.

Alan had most recently held the position of Chairman of the Board here at our company. Nevertheless, the most significant function that Al performed was that of Little Al’s uncle and namesake. Alan served as the steady foundation for us. We looked up to him as a source of wisdom and relied on him when we needed answers to our questions. When things got stressful or difficult, he was always the quiet one who murmured “it’ll be OK – everything will work out.”
